Humble Beginning
In June 2002, we started Crescent English School with 32 students (22 in Nursery, 9 in Junior and 5 in Senior K.G. Classes) with 2 teachers and 1 helper. The school premise in Aamir complex was provided free of charge by social worker and builder Janab Mohammed Ali Memon, also our school Trustee. The school also functioned for 4 years at Tabrez Park: a rented school building before shifting to the current location.
The Present situation
The school is built on a leased land given by a donor for the period of 4 years.
There are 434 pupils from Nursery to Fifth standard (249 boys and 192 girls ) and 25 teaching and non-teaching staff members. Every year a new standard is added.
Expansion
Now the Trust (NIED) is planning to acquire a land area of about 50,000 sq. feet for the future expansion of a full-fledged, spacious building with a huge playground.
Well equipped science laboratories , English language laboratory, Computer & Information Technology laboratory and a library will be the special features of the expansion. The trust also plan to start high school (Stander VIII) from the academic yeat 2010-2011.
